Troubleshooting

Possible Problem
AC adaptor isn’t plugged to a wall outlet or

the connector is not plugged into the power

supply jack o the back of the unit
Wall outlet is not functioning

Internal battery is dead/needs charging

Battery is weak or dead
Remote Control is too far away or not

aimed properly toward the device
Remote switch is in AUTO position

Volume level is set too high
Sound source is distorted

iPhone/iPad/iPod is not docked properly

iPhone/iPad/iPod is locked up/frozen

iPhone/iPad/iPod battery has problem

iPhone/iPad/iPod is obstructed

This is normal. The unit has a rechargeable
battery and charging circuit that may make
the unit feel warm to the touch when in
charging mode.

Solution
Plug the AC adaptor into a wall outlet and plug the connector into

the supply jack on the unit

Plug another device into a wall outlet (same outlet) to confirm the

outlet is working
Connect AC adaptor to working outlet to charge battery

Replace with new battery
Point the Remote Control toward the unit and use within 30 feet of

the unit.
Move Remote switch to ON position

Decrease the volume.

If iPhone/iPad/iPod original sound source is poor quality, distortion

and noise are easily noticed with high-power speakers. Try a

different music file from a trusted source such as iTunes.
Try reducing the output volume and EQ settings such as bass boost

on the device itself.

Remove your iPod/iPhone from the dock and check for obstruction

on the connectors in the dock and on your iPod/iPhone. Then

reseat it in the dock.
Please make sure your iPod/iPhone is working properly before dock

into the unit. Please refer to your iPod manual for detail.

Remove your iPhone/iPad/iPod from the dock and check for

obstruction on the connectors in the dock and on your device. Then

reseat it in the dock.
Upgrade software on your iPhone/iPad/iPod via iTunes

Please make sure your iPhone/iPad/iPod is working properly before

dock into the unit. Please refer to your iPod manual for detail.

generation iPod

Remove your iPhone/iPad/iPod from the dock and check for

obstruction on the connectors in the dock and on your device. Then

reseat it in the dock.

No need for action, operate the unit as usual
