MP3/WMA Playback

• “No Files” appears for a

while, then the disc ejects.

No MP3/WMA tracks are
recorded on the disc.

Change the disc.

MP3/WMA tracks do not
have the extension code
<.mp3> or <.wma> in their
file names.

Add the extension code
<.mp3> or <.wma> to their
file names.

MP3/WMA tracks are not
recorded in the format
compliant with ISO 9660
Level 1, Level 2, Romeo, or
Joliet.

Change the disc.
(Record MP3/WMA
tracks using a compliant
application.)

• Noise is generated.

The track played back
is not an MP3/WMA
track (although it has the
extension code <.mp3> or
<.wma>).

change the disc. (Do not add
the extension code <.mp3>
or <.wma> to non-MP3 or
WMA tracks.)

• Elapsed playing time is not

correct.

This sometimes occurs
during play. This is caused
by how the tracks are
recorded on the disc.

• “Not Support” appears and

track skips.

• Tracks are not encoded in

an appropriate format.

• Copy-protected WMA

tracks cannot be played
back.

• “No Music” appears.

• No MP3/WMA tracks are

recorded on the disc.

• Only <jll> and/or <jla>

files are recorded on the
disc.

Change the disc.

• Correct characters are

not displayed (ex. album
name).

This receiver can only
display alphabets (capital:
A – Z, small: a – z),
numbers, and a limited
number of symbols (see
page 43).
