STUDIO L SERIES
JBL’s Studio L in-wall and in-ceiling speakers are designed for serious listening.
They feature pivoting titanium-laminate dome tweeters that can be aimed directly
toward listeners, proprietary Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal
™ (EOS) waveguides, and
independent tweeter level controls to greatly improve high-frequency response and
ensure that the speakers sound great anywhere in the room. Frame and grille can
be painted to blend into the existing environment. They include a cutting template
and integrated dog-ear brackets for retrofit applications. Rough-in frames are also
available for new construction, making installation easy.

SOUNDPOINT SERIES
JBL’s SoundPoint in-wall and in-ceiling speakers deliver room-filling sound, yet are
extremely compact with shallow mounting depths. They feature unique swivel-mount
titanium laminate tweeter for crystal highs, and a rubber surround aluminum woofer
for hgh power handling and tight, deep bass. They include a cutting template and
integrated dog-ear brackets for retrofit applications. And with rough-in frames
available for new construction, installation is just as easy.

STUDIO 1SERIES
Studio 1 series speakers combine legendary JBL performance with their exclusive new
“Weave” styling to create a speaker line that looks as stunning as it sounds. Proven
PolyPlas ™ woofer and midrange drivers and CMMD Lite tweeters create
exceptional sound, while 3/4” (19mm)-thick medium-density fiberboard
(MDF) enclosures dressed in black vinyl become a welcome addition to
almost any décor.
• Ribbed PolyPlas improve strength for low-distortion bass performance
while inherent stiffness reduces distortion further. Light weight allows for
precise cone movement, so bass instruments sound crisp, not boomy.
• Rubber surround delivers maximum cone excursion for increased bass
output with minimal distortion
• CMMD Lite dome transducers feature
extreme stiffness and damping eliminating
unwanted resonances for clear,
extended high-frequency performance.
• JBL Bi-Radial ® waveguide on the
floorstanding speakers optimizes the
tweeter radiating pattern to provide a
broader soundstage
• Studio 130 features 4-inch woofer and 1-inch high frequency transducer, the 120C adds another
4-inch woofer. The Studio 180 features 6½-inch woofer, 4-inch midrange transducer and and 1-inch
high frequency transducer, the 190 adds a second 6½-inch woofer.
• Studio 120C and 130 features gold-plated binding-post connectors that work with any type of speaker
wire and termination. Users can experiment with exotic wire types.
