N o te : In this me thod, your iP od docking cradle ca nnot used or conne cte d to ma in unit.
(b) C onne ct a n a udio ca ble from a n e xte rna l a udio de vice to the A U X IN ja ck loca te d o n the ba ck
of the docking cradle.
(1) S lide the A u dio In pu t S e le c tor s witch to A U X IN pos ition.
(2) Insert the " D ock C ove r" (include d) into the cradle to create a holder for your player.
(3) Small portable players can now be placed in the cradle without damaging the iPod connector.

N o te :
(1) If your conne cte d using the L ine O ut J a ck of your e xte rna l de vice, the n you can only a djus t the
volume using the JiSS-550 control. If your conne cte d using the H e a dphone J a ck of your e xte rna l
device, then you ma y ne e d to a djus t both the volume controls (JiSS-550 and external device) to
get the best volume level.

T his unit provide s a seperate s ubwoofe r output j a c k for connecting a n e xte rna l a ctive (s e lf-powe re d)
s ubwoofe r speaker (not included). T h i s w i l l e n h a n c e a n d e x p a n d y o u r s o u n d by adding an extra
deep rich bass channel to the unit. The S ubwoofe r O utput J a ck is loca te d o n t h e b a c k of the ma in unit.
