Installing the Film Copying Adapter

By installing the provided film copying adapter, you can take photos of images from developed 35mm film
(negatives or positives; only those with sleeves).
Turn off the camera before installing the film copying adapter. For details on shooting film, refer to page 50.

Grasp knobs and open.

Open the film holder.

Insert the film and then close the film holder.

Insert the film holder into the slit in the film
copying adapter with the picture side facing
the lens side of the camera.

Insert the film copying adapter into the
camera.
•Align on the both sides of the frame with

the self timer lamp, and then push the unit all
of the way to the back of the lens section.

NOTES:

● The film copying adapter is not compatible with

APS film and strips of film that include seven or
more frames.

● Check the orientation of the film.

● Be careful not to scratch the surface of the film.

● When shooting, secure the camera on a stable

surface (such as a desk).

● We recommend using video lights, etc., behind

the film copying adapter.

● Remove and set slide mount items one at a time.

● Refer to the step 7 on page 51 for the blue film

provided with the film holder.
