DECK LEVELING ADJUSTMENT

To Level the Mower Deck:

1. Park machine on a flat, level surface.

2. Raise the mower deck until it reaches the upper stop.

3. If the mower deck is in the HIGH RANGE, place 2 x

4 blocks under the outside edges of the mower deck
with the 3-1/2” sides being vertical. Place a 1/8”
(3mm) thick spacer on top of the rear 2 x 4 blocks.
(See Figure 14)

If the mower deck is in the LOW RANGE, place 2 x 4
blocks under the outside edges of the mower deck
with the 1-1/2” sides being vertical. Place a 1/8”
(3mm) thick spacer on top of the rear 2 x 4 blocks.
(See Figure 14)

4. Lower the mower deck until the deck rests against

the 2 x 4 blocks and spacers.

5. Loosen the bolts (A, Figure 15) that secure the

connecting links (B) together. This will remove any
tension from the mounting linkages and pivots.

6. Retighten the bolts securely.

7. Verify that the deck height indicator (C) is aligned

with the 4” mark (if in the HIGH RANGE) or the 2”
mark (if in the LOW RANGE). Adjust the indicator
position if necessary.

8. Remove the blocks from under the mower deck.
