Contact Groups
You can place Contact entries into categories, called “Groups.”
Groups allow you to search your Contacts faster, quickly send
messages to one or more group members, and more.
Note: Contacts can be a member of more than one group, so you must
unmark any group previously selected to remove the Contact from that
group.
View Groups
1.
From the home screen, press
for MENU
➔
for
Contacts.
2.
Press
for
Groups. The following groups appear in
the display.
• Business
• Colleague
• Family
• Friends
3.
Press the
Directional key up or down to highlight
the desired group, then press
to access the group
and view its contents.
Add a Contact to a Group
1.
From the home screen, press
for MENU
➔
for
Contacts.
2.
Press
for
Groups.
3.
Press the
Directional key up or down to highlight a
group.
4.
Press right soft key
for Options and press
for
Add.
5.
Press the
Directional key up or down to highlight a
contact and press
for MARK. A checkmark displays in
the box.
6.
Press left soft key
for Done.
Move an Entry to Another Group
1.
From the home screen, press right soft key
for
Contacts. Press the
Directional key up or down to
highlight the contact you wish to move.
2.
Press left soft key
for Edit. Press the
Directional key up or down to scroll to the Group option.
3.
Press left soft key
for Set.
