Changing the Backlight Time Length
The backlight setting lets you select how long the display
screen and keypad are lit after any key press is made.
To change the backlight setting:
1.
Press Menu (
) to access the main menu.

Select Settings (

Select Display (
).
4.
Select Backlight (
).
5.
Select one of the following:
Ⅲ
Main Display (
) allows you to select Flip open, 30
seconds, 15 seconds, or 8 seconds.
Ⅲ
Keypad (
) allows you to select Flip open, 30
seconds, 15 seconds, or 8 seconds.
Ⅲ
Pwr Save Mode (
) allows you to select On or Off.

Choose the desired setting and press

Note:
Long backlight settings affect the battery’s talk and standby
times.
