To remove a memory card

Be sure that the ACCESS indicator is off,
and then push the memory card into the
slot. When it pops out, remove it from the
memory card slot.

On folder and track file structure

Ten folders are created in a memory card in
addition to those in the built-in memory.
The structure of folders and track files is
somewhat different from that of the built-in
memory (page 85).

P Notes

• Do not insert or remove a memory card

during recording/playback. Doing so may
cause a malfunction of the PCM recorder.

• Do not remove a memory card while

“Accessing...” appears on the display
window or the ACCESS indicator flashes in
orange. Doing so may damage the data.

• If a memory card is not recognized, remove

it and then insert it into the PCM recorder
again.

• Close the cover of the memory card slot

firmly. Also, do not insert any liquid, metal,
flammable or any object other than a
memory card into the slot. Doing so may
cause fire, electric shock, or malfunctions.
