Hints

• To set other timer REC presets, tap [New] and follow steps 3 to step 13.

• You can have up to 100 presets in the backup list of your CLIÉ handheld, and up

to 20 on a “Memory Stick” media.

• Timer REC presets in the backup list of your CLIÉ handheld and the list on an

inserted “Memory Stick” media are deleted automatically when the preset time is
past.

Notes

• When consecutive timer REC presets are set, the last 1 minute of the earlier preset

cannot be recorded. Therefore, to be sure the beginning of the second preset is
recorded, set the first recording to end at least 1 minute before the second preset is
scheduled to begin.

• You cannot set timer REC presets that overlap each other on a “Memory Stick”

media.

14

Remove the “Memory Stick” media from your CLIÉ
handheld.

Note

Do not remove the “Memory Stick” media from your CLIÉ handheld when the
“Memory Stick” LED is lit.

15

Insert the “Memory Stick” media into the “Memory Stick” slot
of the Video Recorder.

If you insert a “Memory Stick” media when the Video Recorder is
turned on, the number of timer REC presets is displayed in the front
panel for about five seconds.
When you turn off the Video Recorder, the STANDBY indicator lights
up in red and the Video Recorder enters standby mode for the timer
REC preset(s).
If you insert a “Memory Stick” media when the Video Recorder is
turned off, the STANDBY indicator lights up in red and the Video
Recorder enters standby mode for the timer REC preset(s).
Timer recording will start at the preset time. During recording, the
REC indicator lights up. Do not remove the “Memory Stick” media
during recording.
