Repeat a section of a file
You can select a section of a file to repeat.
Press at the beginning of the section you
want to repeat.
• is displayed at the top of the screen and the color of
the progress bar changes.
Press at the end of the section you want to
repeat.
■ displays at the top of the screen.
Your recorder repeats the marked section.
To cancel repeating, press again.
Note
You can set the end point 3 seconds after the start point.
Use simple repeat
You can skip backward 3 seconds while listening to music or
a recording. While listening to a file, press
to repeat the
previous 3-second section.
Note
If you press within 3 seconds of the beginning of
the file, the playback will restart from the beginning.
Set up SoundAlive
Select appropriate sound effects for music.
During playback, press .
Select <SoundAlive>.
Select a sound effect you want.
Note
• If you select <Auto>, your recorder searches the track
information (ID3 tag) and automatically selects an
appropriate effect.
• To select your own equaliser, select <User>.
Example: Set your own equalizer to <User>
Select <SoundAlive> → <User> and press .
Select a mode, and then adjust the settings.
Note
You can set SoundAlive only when the earphone is
connected.
