Playing Discs
Creating Your Own
Program (Program Play)
Z
You can play the contents of the disc in the order you
want by arranging the order of the titles, chapters or
tracks on the disc and create your own program. One
program can be restored in the system and contain up to
25 steps of titles, chapters and tracks.

While in stop mode, press P. MODE on the remote
repeatedly until “PGM” appears on the front panel
display.
The programming display appears on the TV screen.

Going back to the menu screen
Press ORETURN on the remote.
z When playing VIDEO CDs with PBC functions
PBC playback starts automatically.
z To cancel PBC playback of a VIDEO CD with PBC functions
and play the disc in Continuous Play mode
There are two ways.
• Before you start playing, select the track you want using the
l or L buttons, then press ENTER or H.
• Before you start playing, select the track number using the
number buttons on the remote, then press ENTER or H.
“Play without PBC” appears on the TV screen and the system
starts Continuous Play. You cannot play still pictures such as a
menu screen.
To return to PBC playback, press s twice then press H
.
Note
Depending on the VIDEO CD, “Press ENTER.” in Step 3 may be
expressed as “Press SELECT.” in the instructions supplied with
the disc.
