Troubleshooting

Symptom

Solution

Stiletto 100 does not
power on

Check the battery to be sure it is installed correctly.
Charge the battery.

Stiletto 100 displays:
Acquiring Signal

The Stiletto 100 is searching for a satellite signal.
Check for obstacles over or around the satellite antenna.
Change your location to eliminate nearby obstacles such as build-
ings, overhangs, bridges, overpasses, etc.

Audio starts and stops

The satellite signal is weak.
Check for obstacles over or around the satellite antenna.
Change your location to eliminate nearby obstacles such as build-
ings, overhangs, bridges, overpasses, etc.

No sound

Check that the ear buds or antenna headphones are plugged in
correctly and securely.

The Stiletto 100
will not start up or
displays ERROR

The software on the Stiletto 100 has been damaged. Connect the
Stiletto 100 to your PC computer using the USB cable, and use
the My Sirius Studio software to download new software to the
device. Follow the instructions included on the software CD-ROM.

The Stiletto 100 does
not respond to the
Media Dial and other
buttons

The Stiletto is locked. Slide the

Power/Lock switch to the

center position.
Slide and hold the Power/Lock switch down for 5 seconds
which will turn the Stiletto 100 off. Then slide the

Power/Lock

switch down and release it.
If none of these solutions works, remove the battery, wait 10
seconds, replace the battery, and slide the

Power/Lock switch

down and release it.
