Speaker connection
Connect the wire with the gray line to the minus (-) terminal and the white wire
to the plus (+) terminal.
Caution:
How to open side covers
Open the right and left side covers to connect the system.

Make sure to unplug the AC power cord before connecting the speaker
wires.
z
Connect the speaker wires to the speakers first, then to the unit.
This prevents short circuit between and terminals.
z
Use speakers with an impedance of 4 ohms or more, as lower impedance speak-
ers can damage the unit.
z
Do not mistake and , and right and left terminals of the speaker wires. (The right
speaker is placed on the right when you face the unit.)
z
Do not let the bare speaker wires touch
each other.
z
Do not short-circuit the speaker wires. If
the power is turned on, malfunction may
occur.
z
Do not allow any objects to fall into or to be
placed in the bass reflex ducts.
z
Do not stand or sit on the speakers. You may
be injured.
Note:
Place speakers with the tweeter on the out-
side (see diagram).
