Turn the engine switch (Figure 14) to the ON position.

The main

start/stop

switch located on the engine cover is

(Figure 15) is used to start and stop the engine. Pull this
switch outward to start the engine.

6.

Place the

belt slip lever

(Figure 16) in the

START/STOP

(disengaged) position.

Pull the

starter grip

(Figure 19) lightly until you feel

resistance, then pull briskly. Return the starter grip gently.

Make certain the

drum lock pin

(Figures 17

and 18) is placed

to the RIGHT (when viewing the mixer from the tow-pole
end) of the drum stop block which is welded to the front side
of the drum. Also make sure lock pin is fully engaged (locked).
This will prevent the drum from tipping.
