Activating the Song (S-Seek) Alert
When S-Seek alerts are enabled, whenever the Sportster SP5 is on it automatically
searches the channels to determine if a match exists with the program information
stored in radio’s memory. If one or more matches are found, a S-S
EEK
A
LERT
pop-up
screen appears (see Figure 72, left) and an audible beep tone is heard, indicating
that a match was found. If more than one match is found the M
Y
SIRIUS S
EEKS
screen
appears (see Figure 72, right), and you can use the Knob (on the remote, use the
Channel UP/DOWN buttons) to select the song that you wish to listen to.
If you do
not make a selection within 10 seconds, the screen will revert to the last active display
screen and tuning mode.
To turn on S-Seek alerts:
Press and hold the M
EMO
button for 1½ seconds to enter the S-Seek mode.
Press the Select button. A pop-up screen displaying three selectable options,

are displayed (see Figure 70, on page
86).
Use the Knob (on the remote, use the Channel UP/DOWN buttons) to highlight
the S
EEK
O
N
option.
Press the Select button to turn on S-Seek alerts.
