browser, double-click on the index.htm file
on the CD-ROM.

Select and click on the manual that you
wish to read.

This opens the PDF file.

Memo

The files may not be displayed properly,
depending on the version of Adobe Reader. In
such a case, install the latest version you can
download from the URL mentioned in
“Preparations” above.

Note

If you have lost or damaged the CD-ROM, you
can purchase a new one to replace it. Contact your
Sony service representative.

The following operating conditions are
recommended for using the software recorded on
the CD-ROM:

Do the following to install the software on the
CD-ROM on your computer:

Insert the CD-ROM in your CD-ROM
drive.

A cover page appears automatically in your
browser.
If it does not appear automatically in the
browser, double-click on the index.htm file
on the CD-ROM.

Select and click on the software that you
wish to install.

The installer for the software starts up.
Follow the displayed instructions:

For details, refer to the User’s Guide or ReadMe of
the software.

Uninstalling an application program

Windows computer
Choose “Start,” “Control Panel” then “Add or
Remove Programs” and specify the program to be
deleted.

Macintosh computer
Drop the folder of the software (default:
/Application/XDCAM EX Clip Browser) into
Trash.
