Troubleshooting

I cannot send/
receive calls.

Make sure that your antenna is fully
extended and that you have a phone
signal (see the “Signal Strength
Indicator” item on page 29). Avoid
electrical or radio interference, and
obstructions such as bridges, parking
garages, or tall buildings.

Your phone also may have the

Restrict Calls

feature turned on. If

you know the unlock code, you can
change this setting in the security menu

My phone has
poor reception
and drops calls.

Make sure that your antenna is fully

extended and is not bent or damaged.

Also, make sure you have a phone
signal (see the “Signal Strength
Indicator” item on page 29). Stay clear
of any obstructions such as bridges,
parking garages, or tall buildings.

I cannot hear
others on my
phone.

While on a call, press the upper volume
key on the left side of your phone. Your
phone display should show the volume
increasing.

Also, make sure that your phone’s
earpiece is not blocked by its carrying
case.
