EPIC REAR SHOCK SETUP
STEP 1:
Set sag:
- See attached charts for starting air pressure.
- After setting the pressure, push the rubber ring up to the seal, sit on the bike gently for 0
seconds still, dismount and measure sag.
Recommended sag: 0% - % of shock stroke.
- Epic sag: 9.mm to mm
STEP 2:
Adjust rebound:
Rebound damping controls the rate at which the shock returns after it has been compressed.
- Clocwise for slower rebound (slower speeds, bigger hits).
- Counter-clockwise for faster rebound (higher speeds, smaller bumps, more traction).
STEP 3:
Tune Brain Fade valve (Fig.):
Epic Brain Fade is an inertia valve system offering a range of pedal platform efficiency. The blue
knob controls the Race Tune inertia valve damping.
