Control Menu items Function
TITLE (DVD only)
SCENE (VIDEO CD in PBC
Playback only)
TRACK (VIDEO CD or CD)
ALBUM (MP3 only) Selects the title (DVD), the scene (VIDEO CD in PBC Playback), the track
(VIDEO CD or CD), or the album (MP3) to be played.
Selects the chapter (DVD) or the index (VIDEO CD or CD) to be played.
TRACK (MP3 only) Selects the track to be played.
TIME Checks the elapsed time and the remaining playback time.
Inputs the time code for picture and music searching.
AUDIO (DVD/VIDEO CD/
CD only) Changes the audio setting.
SUBTITLE (DVD only) Displays the subtitles.
Changes the subtitle language.
ANGLE (DVD only) Changes the angle.
PLAY MODE Selects the play mode (Normal Play/Shuffle Play/Program Play) for one disc
or all discs in the disc tray.
REPEAT Plays the entire disc (all titles/all tracks) repeatedly or one title/chapter/
album/track repeatedly.
CUSTOM PARENTAL
CONTROL Sets the disc to prohibit playback.
Tips
• Each time you press DVD DISPLAY, the Control Menu display changes cyclically as follows:
Control Menu display t Control Menu display off
The Control Menu items differ depending on the disc.
• The Control Menu icon indicator lights in green when you select any item except “OFF” (“REPEAT” only). The
“ANGLE” indicator lights in green only when the angles can be changed.
DISC Displays the disc name inserted into the system.
Selects the disc to be played.
