WEP
Wired Equivalent Privacy. An encryption service built in
to many 802.11 products intended to make the connection
secure.
WiFi
Wireless Fidelity. The popular name for 802.11
technologies that have passed WiFi Certification
Testing, for which WECA is responsible.
WiFi Alliance

WLAN
Wireless LAN (Local Area Network)
WML
Wireless Markup Language. A markup language used
for authoring services, fulfilling the same role as HTML
does on the world-wide web. In contrast to HTML,
WML has been specifically designed to suit small hand-
held devices.
WWW
World Wide Web.
XML
Extensible Markup Language.
