Editing a Voice Memo Caption
By default, the caption assigned to a voice memo is a
sequential file name which consists of the date
(MMM_DD) followed by the memo number. For
example, two memos recorded on October 7th, 2007,
would be listed as Oct_07_x01 and Oct_07_x02. You
can change these captions to suit your needs.
To edit a voice memo caption:
1. Press Menu > Tools > Voice Memo > Review . (The
phone displays a list of saved memos, with the first
one selected.)
2. Highlight a memo and select Options (right softkey)
> Edit Caption .
3. Press to delete the previous text and then
use the keypad to enter a new caption for the
selected memo.
4. Select Done (left softkey) or press to save the
current memo with the new caption text.
Note For voice memos created by recording a phone
conversation, the filename will be the number of the
recorded call.
