Tracing the same programme—
Alternative Frequency Reception
You can keep listening to the same
programme by activating the Alternative
Frequency Reception.
• While receiving a DAB service:
When driving in an area where a DAB service
cannot be received, this receiver automatically
tunes in to another ensemble or FM RDS
station, broadcasting the same programme.
• While receiving an FM RDS station:
When driving in an area where a DAB service
is broadcasting the same programme as the
FM RDS station is broadcasting, this receiver
automatically tunes in to the DAB service.
When shipped from the factory, Alternative
Frequency Reception is activated.
To deactivate the Alternative Frequency
Reception, see page 43.
To show the Dynamic Label Segment (DLS)
information
* Lights up when receiving a service
providing DLS.
• The DLS screen will be temporarily canceled
when you operate the receiver.
To show whole text at once, press and hold
DISP while DLS is displayed.
Multi-line text screen appears.
• When the text contains more than 96
characters, another window appears to show
the rest of the text.
To restore the previous screen, press and hold
DISP again.
DISP
Service frequency is displayed.
While listening to an ensemble that
supports DLS...
Dynamic Label Segment (DLS—
