1 Press the MODE button in STOP mode.
¡ The program screen is displayed.

RANDOMLY
1 Press the MODE button twice in STOP mode.
¡ The random setting menu screen will appear.
2 Press the PLAY button.
¡ Random play will begin.

EXIT: MODE START: PLAY
1 Press the SEARCH MODE button during play-
back.
¡ The SEARCH menu is displayed.
¡ The track currently being played or in RESUME ON
will be highlighted. In the case of RESUME OFF,
the first track of the disc will be highlighted.
¡ Press the RETURN button, and the SEARCH menu
disappears.
2 Using the Arrow buttons ( K / L ), select the
track to be played. Then press the PLAY but-
ton to start playing.
Notes
¡ During play, a desired track can be searched for
directly. Just enter the track number with the
Number buttons.
¡ If the track number entered is not available, the “dis-
able” symbol appears and the direct search mode is
cancelled.
¡ Playback cannot be started from a desired time
count.

2 Use the Arrow buttons ( L / K ) to select a
track. Then press the ENTER button to save
it in a program.
¡ When an album name is highlighted, press the
Arrow button (
L ), and the next hierarchy is dis-
played.
¡ Press the Arrow button ( K ) to go back to the previ-
ous hierarchy.
¡ If the entire program cannot be displayed at once on
the screen, “
L ” appears to go to the next page.
3 When the program has been selected, press
the PLAY button.
¡ The program will begin.
Notes
¡ Press the CLEAR/C.RESET button, and the last-
programmed entry will be deleted.
¡ Press the RETURN button, and the program screen
will be displayed and the program stored in memo-
ry.
¡ The program setting will be cancelled when the
power is turned off or the disc tray is opened.
