Sonic Implants’ Orchestral Brass consists of ensemble french horns, trombones, trumpets and tuba. This beautifully rich set of brass

Keyboard Layout

Each key on a piano keyboard has a name and octave delineation. For example, middle C is C4. One octave above middle C is C5, etc.
(See diagram above.) This is useful in determining how our instruments are laid across a MIDI keyboard.

Note: Middle C is C4, which is the standard for most MIDI keyboards, although on some applications or keyboards refer to middle C as
C3 (Yamaha) or C5.

Trumpets - Instrument range is E3-E6.

French Horns - Instrument range is F2-F5.

Trombones - Instrument range is C2-E5.

Tuba - Instrument range is C1-E4.

Ensembles - Instrument range is C1-E6.

Instrument labels are as follows:

Dual - Instruments consisting of only two velocity layers.

Forte - Instruments consisting of only the loudest velocity samples.

Mezzo - Instruments consisting of only the softest velocity samples.

Legato - Instruments consisting of long smooth samples.

<

Staccato - Instruments consisting of short sharp samples.

<

Brass Ensemble - All of the instruments combined to make one large instrument.

Horns - French Horns.

Tbones - Trombones.

Trps - Trumpets.
