4 Keystone Correction

When the image is projected either from the top or from
the bottom towards the screen at an angle, the image be-
comes distorted trapezoidally. The function for correct-
ing trapezoidal distortion is called Keystone Correction.

Auto Keystone Correction

Set “Auto Keystone” on the “Options1” screen menu
to “On”.

Manual Keystone Correction

Set “Auto Keystone” on the “Options1” screen menu to
“Off”, and select “Keystone”, then adjust with the slide bar.

Manual Correction

Note

• The Keystone Correction can be adjusted up to an

angle of approximately ±12 degrees with the “Auto
Keystone” and up to an angle of approximately ±40
degrees with the manual “Keystone”.
(when “Resize” is set to “Normal”)

• When the screen is slanting or the image is deterio-

rated, set “Auto Keystone” to “Off”.

• When adjusting the keystone or when “Auto Keystone”

is set to “On”, “Image Shift” is auto matically set to “0”.

Note

• When “Eco/Quiet Mode” is set to “On”, the power

consumption will decrease and the lamp life will
extend. (Projection brightness decreases 20%.)

• You can also use ECO/QUIET button on the re-

mote control or on the projector to switch the Eco/
Quiet Mode. (See page

36

standby mode when no input signal is
detected for 15 minutes or longer.
The Auto Power Off function will be
disabled.

Note

• When the Auto Power Off function is set to “On”,

5 minutes before the projector enters the
standby mode, the message “Enter STANDBY
mode in X min.” will appear on the screen to
indicate the remaining minutes.
