1. In standby mode, press (press when in-use) to display
the Message menu. A number of received or sent messages displays next
to the associated message type in the menu.
2. For Text messages use the to locate the message you want to review,
press to open.
3. Press to view the following options:
• Call Back: Automatically calls the number found in the message.
• Reply: to reply to the sender. The phone accesses the New Message
menu and copies the sender’s originating address to the Send To
field.
• Forward: to forward the message to another. The phone accesses
the New Message menu, and copies the sender’s message (body) to
the Message field.
• Save addr: to save the sender’s e-mail address to the Phone Book.
The address is automatically copied into the Add Entry or E-mail
Entry field.
• Erase: to delete the message from the Inbox.
• Detail: Displays the date and time the message was sent and
received. Also displays the encoding information.
• Save cb#: to save the call back number to the Phone Book. The
number is automatically copied to the Add Entry field.
4. Pressing returns you to the previous Inbox messages list screen.
Ringer type — Message
To activate, view or change the ringer type for messages:
1. In standby mode, press to display the main menu.
2. Press for Sounds.
3. Press Ringer Type.
4. Press Messages.
5. Press for Voicemail, for Text, or for Web Alerts.
