Recording Programmes
Using Series Recording

Series Recording is a feature that allows you
to search programmes in a series, using the
information from the GUIDE Plus+ system.

This function cannot be used when the GUIDE
Plus+ system does not include series information
with the programme data.

Press GUIDE.

Select a programme using </M/m/
,, and press INFO.

Detailed programme information is
displayed. You can check whether the
selected programme has series
information or not.

Press the yellow button (“More”).

Further information is available.
The “More” button in the on-screen
display may not be activated depending
on the programme.

Press the red button (“Record”).

To modify the timer setting, see page 42.

Press GUIDE to exit the GUIDE Plus+
system.

The recorder is ready to start recording.

To search for programmes related to the
timer settings

When you set timer recording for a
programme that has series information, you
can search for related programmes such as
listed below.
To use this function, press the yellow button
(“More”) in step 3 above.
• Repeat programmes: You can search for

repeat broadcasts of the programme which
is set for timer recording (Alternative
Times).

• Programmes in a series: You can search for

the next programme in the series of a
programme which is set for timer
recording (Upcoming Episodes).

• Recommended programmes: You can

search for recommended programmes
linked to the programme which is set for
timer recording (Recommendations).

• Split programmes: You can search for

other parts of the split programme which is
set for timer recording (Parts).
