ARCHITECT’S & ENGINEER’S

SPECIFICATION

The mixer amplifier shall incorporate a 250 W per

channel stereo amplifier, a dual 7-band graphic equaliz-
er, digital signal processing and a stereo mixer with 8
microphone-line input channels and two stereo line
input channels. Microphone inputs shall be on XLR-
type connectors and line inputs shall be on balanced
1/4

phone connectors. Each channel shall have a trim

control (microphone channels) or pad switch (stereo
line channels), one external and one internal effects
sends, 3-band equalization (microphone channels) or
2-band equalization (stereo line channels), pan, a
peak-level indicator and a level control.

Two stereo effects returns shall be provided on

1/4

phone connectors, and each shall have an inde-

pendent level control. The mixer shall provide 256
variations of digital signal processing.

Phantom power of +48 volts shall be provided for

operation of condenser microphones. The amplifier
shall be fan cooled. Amplifier output shall be provided
on two 1/4

phone connectors per side. Indicators

shall be provided for output-signal level, power and
+48 volts. The unit shall be a stand alone or rack-
mount type (rack ears included).

The amplifier shall deliver maximum power equal

to or greater than 250 watts per side into 4 ohms, sig-
nal-to-noise equal to or greater than 112 dB, THD less
than 0.02% and frequency response of ±1 dB from 20
Hz to 20 kHz. The mixer shall have residual noise of -
90 dB and THD less than 0.02%. Dimensions shall be
19.35

(491 mm) wide, 13.75

(349 mm) deep and

5.5

(139 mm) high. Weight shall be 36 lb. (16.4 kg).

The mixer amplifier shall carry a three-year warranty.

The mixer amplifier shall be a SAMSON TM500.
