PlAyStAtIon ® 3 DUALSHOCK ® 3 Wireless Controller
Arriving in early 2008 is the long
anticipated DUALSHOCK
® 3 controller for the
PLAYSTATION ® 3. This new controller retains
the iconic look and feel of the PlayStation ®
controller with the addition of the “rumble”
effect during game-play, allowing the player to
become even more immersed in the experience.
The DUALSHOCK ® 3 will retain the SIXAXIS™
functionality allowing the player to control their
gaming* through six axes of movement and
positional control of pitch, roll and yaw.
*Both “rumble” and SIXAXIS™ functionality are reliant on
functionality having been integrated into the game experience.
PlAyStAtIon ® 3 PlayTV
The “next big thing” to arrive for PLAYSTATION ® 3
is PlayTV. Put simply, PlayTV will transform the
way you view television forever.
Boasting twin High Definition tuners, PlayTV
will allow you to watch, pause and record live
TV. Using its integrated EPG (Electronic Program
Guide) you will always know ahead of time
when your favourite programs are on and using
PlayTV’s intuitive and simple menu, record and
view programming at your leisure.
All you need is an aerial connection, the PlayTV
tuner, your PLAYSTATION
® 3 and your TV! What’s
more, it’s very easy to connect and operate.
Simply connect the aerial to the PlayTV tuner,
connect the tuner with your PS3
® via USB and
then connect your PS3 ® to your TV. You’re ready
to watch, record and pause live TV!
But perhaps the greatest thing about PlayTV
is the unique interoperability between PSP
®
and PS3 ® allowing you to watch either pre-
recorded or live TV while on the go. This can
all be achieved by accessing a wireless hotspot
with your PSP
® and activating the Remote Play
feature.

Now available on PSP ® via as a FREE System
Update*, is one of the most popular IP based
communication services in the world, Skype™.
Skype™ is used by millions of people all
round the world every day to chat and keep in
touch. It allows for crystal clear voice based
communication between yourself and another
Skype™ user. What’s more it’s completely free**.
Skype will also allow you to contact any
conventional mobile or land line phone for a
small fee. This means you can be in any wireless
hotspot and use your PSP
® to call any of your
friends or family, quickly and easily. Go to the

Go!Messenger
Go Messenger is another new and FREE
communications application which is now
available for the PSP
® . Using Go Messenger you
will be able to contact your friends on their PSP ®
using a wireless hotspot, in either voice or video
chat mode.
The Go Messenger application allows you to
build and maintain a contact list of your friends
meaning a quick chat is never far away. You can
use the Go Cam (PSP
® USB Camera) to activate
video chat or a headset and microphone to use
voice chat. You can even leave messages for your
offline friends that they will receive the next time
they log in to Go Messenger.
Internet Radio
A newly launched feature for the PSP ® is
‘Internet Radio’. Using this feature you can listen
to web based radio stations using a wireless
hotspot. You can tune into several online
stations each with their own unique playlist so
you can be sure to find something that suits
your tastes. Internet Radio is available free of
charge right now via a System Update for your
PlayStation
® Portable.
