The device manager can be used,

for example, to transfer configura-

tion data from the service provider

via WAP push (page 51).
The phone default setting varies

from service provider to service

provider:
• The settings have already been

implemented by the service pro-

vider. You can start immediately.

• Access profiles have already been

created by your service provider.

Then select profile and activate.

• The access profiles must be con-

figured manually. If necessary,

contact your service provider. You

will also find the current settings

for the service provider on the

Internet at

www.siemens.com/

mobilephonescustomercare

under "FAQ".

Establish a connection to

the active profile.

After the data has been transferred:

The list of profiles is chosen for you

to choose from.

Master reset

The phone is reset to the default

values (factory setting). This does

not affect SIM card and network

settings or data saved during Instant

Messaging.
