Note: In TTY Mode, your phone will display the TTY access
icon when the TTY device is plugged into the phone.
WARNING: 911 Emergency Calling
Sprint recommends that TTY users make
emergency calls by other means, including
Telecommunications Relay Services (TRS),
analog cellular, and landline communications.
Wireless TTY calls to 911 may be corrupted
when received by public safety answering points
(PSAPs), rendering some communications
unintelligible. The problem encountered appears
related to software used by PSAPs. This matter
has been brought to the attention of the FCC,
and the wireless industry and the PSAP
community are currently working to resolve this.
Phone Setup Options
Call Answer Mode
Select how to answer incoming calls on your phone:
whether you want to press
, to press any number
key, or simply to open the phone.
1. Press > Settings > Others > Call Setup > Call
Answer.
2. Highlight an option and press .
Ⅲ Slide Up to answer an incoming call by just sliding
the phone open.
Ⅲ Any Key to allow you to answer an incoming call
by sliding the phone open and pressing any key.
Ⅲ TALK Only to require you to press to answer
all incoming calls.
When enabled, TTY mode may impair the audio quality
of non-TTY devices connected to the headset jack.
