Playing tracks in
random order
(Shuffle
Play)
You can play the tracks in an audio CD in
random order.
The following operations can be done with
the buttons on the main unit, the supplied
earphones with remote control, or the
supplied wireless remote control.
During play, press PLAY MODE
(P MODE) repeatedly until “SHUF”
appears.
The tracks play in random order.
To cancel shuffle play
Press PLAY MODE (P MODE) repeatedly
until the play mode indication disappears
from the display.
Notes
• During shuffle play, you cannot return to previous
tracks by pressing ..
• If you locate a specific track using the number
button on the wireless remote control, shuffle
play is cancelled.
Playing tracks in your
favorite order
(PGM Play)
You can program the player to play up to 64
tracks in your favorite order.
The following operations can be done with
the buttons on the main unit, the supplied
earphones with remote control, or the
supplied wireless remote control.

During playback, press PLAY
MODE (P MODE) repeatedly until
“PGM*” appears.

Press the number buttons
(wireless remote control only), or
. or > and REPEAT/ENTER
(RPT/ENT) to choose a track.
The track number and the playing order
appear.
