To install to your desktop/laptop computer:
1.
Place the CD in the drive and wait for the Installation
window to display.
2.
Click on Install ActiveSync and USB Drivers.
3.
Reboot your system when the installation is finished.
Creating a New Partnership
After you install ActiveSync and the USB drivers
required for the i700 to connect properly, you need to
create a new partnership. You can setup a standard or
guest partnership.
A Standard partnership is used to synchronize data
between your device and the PC. The Guest
partnership is used to simply transfer files between
your device and the PC.
To create a new partnership:
1.
If this is the first time your i700 is connected to the PC,
the New Partnership screen is displayed when you
launch the ActiveSync application.
2.
Select the desired partnership and click
Next
.
3.
Select how you want to synchronize data and click
Next
.
4.
Enter a unique name for your device (i700) and click
Next
.
5.
Select or deselect the desired applications that you want
to synchronize and click
Next
.
6.
Click
Finish
.
