The chart below will help you decide what utensils and coverings should be used in each mode.

Small flat pieces of aluminum foil placed
smoothly on food can be used to shield
areas from cooking or defrosting too
quickly. Keep foil at least 1 inch (2.54
cm) from walls of oven.
