Use the following flow chart to assist with setting up your operating system.

Setting Up Your Operating System
1. Power on the workstation.
See “Powering On the Workstation” on page 8 .
2. Verify the version of software installed. Alternatively, you can install a newer
version of the Solaris Operating System software.
Power on the workstation.
Choose the Solaris version. Accept the li-
cense. Answer Solaris software prompts using
information specific to your site that your sys-
tem administrator provides. If necessary, refer
to “
TABLE 2-1 , Information for Setting Up the
Solaris Desktop Operating System ”.
