4. In the top hole (B, figure 2) of the mower deck, install
the carriage bolt figure 1) and
washer (I) from bottom. Secure with locknut(H)
on top of deck.
5. Raise the mower
6. Hook the adaptor hold-down (R, 1) onto the
stone guard (C, figure 2). Then, lift the adaptor up into
place, hooking onto the spacer (D, figure 1). The
spring latch (K) should snap
the carriage bolt(J)
installed on mower deck in step 4.
Shut off the engine and key before
removing my part of the collector.
REMOVAL
To operate without the vacuum collector, remove the
adapter as follows. Unhook spring latch from bolt in
mower housing and then pull off, unhooking from spacer
and stone guard. Be sure mower deflector is down in
original position.
