Symptom

Cause and Remedy

The computer cannot
access the Web page of the
projector.

• The computer and projector are not connected over a network.

c Connect the projector and a computer via a network (page 11).

• The browser of the computer is set to [Use a proxy server for your

LAN].
c Set the IP address of the projector to [Use a proxy server for

your LAN].

• The version of the browser is old or a browser other than Internet

Explorer is be used.
c Use Internet Explorer version 5.0 or later.

Symptom

The file list is unable to
open.

• The USB memory is not connected to the projector correctly.

c Connect the USB memory correctly (page 23).

The folder name or
filename is not displayed
correctly.

• An unsupported language or font for these features is used for the

name.
c Change the name, using a supported language or font (page 10).

The file cannot be opened.

• You are trying to open a file that is not supported by these features.

c Check the type of files that are available for browsing (page 8).

• The file is protected by a password.

c The projector does not support the password security function.

Cancel the password protection for the file on your computer.

Some fonts specifications
in PowerPoint, or Excel
files will be forcibly
substituted.

• An unsupported font specification is converted to one usable with

this product.
c Check the usable fonts (page 9).

The characters are not
displayed with PowerPoint,
or Excel files.

• Unusable characters (languages) are used.

c Check the usable characters (languages) (page 9).

Some graphics, effects, and
functions are not
reproduced properly with

• Unusable graphics, effects, or functions are used.

c This product does not correspond to all graphics, effects, and

functions of PowerPoint, or Excel files. Change the graphics,
effects, or functions that are not reproduced to usable ones.

A photo file or video file is
not projected in full-screen
display.
