To change quality level

Selecting auto track mark
In order to record successive tracks on the
MagicGate Memory Stick Duo in one recording
session, the HBM-30 supports auto track mark. After
each music pause, a new track is automatically
created on the Memory Stick Duo.

To select auto track mark

1. While in recording standby mode, press

MENU

2. Scroll to Auttrmk with

, and press

.

3. Use

or

to scroll to On or Off.

4. Press

to select or press

MENU

to go back to

recording standby mode without saving.

Store music

You can copy MP3 tracks to and from the
Memory Stick Duo using a computer equipped with
Memory Stick or Memory Stick Duo reader.
Use the Memory Stick adapter to use your Memory
Stick Duo
in full-sized Memory Stick readers.

In order to play MP3 files from the Memory Stick

Duo, the files must be stored in a dedicated directory
called “\MP3”.

Note: You should not change the contents of any
directory other than “\MP3”.

ATRAC3 file handling is restricted by MagicGate
protection. Please refer to MagicGate compatible
devices on how to copy ATRAC3 tracks.
