Using Your Kambrook Radiant Heater

Before first use

Remove your heater from its carton

and associated protective wrapping.

Unwind the cord to its full length and

remove any protective cardboard

or foam that may have been used

to minimise transportation damage.

Place the heater on a firm, level

surface in a stable upright position.

Visually inspect the air inlet and

outlets to ensure no foreign material is

blocking these areas.

Turning Your Heater On

NOTE: To avoid an electrical

circuit overload, it is

recommended that no other

appliances are plugged into the

same circuit with your heater when

you switch the unit on.


1. Your heater must be wall

mounted and no closer that

25cm to ceiling, 200cm to floor,

25cm to side walls.

2. Remove the mounting bracket

from the rear of the heater and

secure to the wall with the five

screws supplied. To wall mount

correctly, ensure the bracket

is placed on the wall so that

the keyhole slots have two on

top, and one on the bottom

(See Fig.1).

NOTE: Fixed wire installations

should be performed by a

qualified electrician.

3. Hook heater base onto mounting

bracket on wall aligning the

heater base clips on the mounting

bracket and slide downwards to

fit in position (See Fig.2).

4. Plug the power cord into a 230V

or 240V electrical outlet. Be sure

the plug fits tightly as a loose

fit will cause overheating and

damage the plug.

5. To switch the heater on, pull the

Power On/Off cord until it clicks

and the neon light illuminates.

6. To switch heater off, pull the

Power On/Off cord again

until it clicks and the neon

light goes out.
