Motion sequence

What is a motion sequence?

The ESX-1 has a Motion Sequence function that lets you record and
playback realtime changes made to the knobs and keys (☞ “Record-
ing a motion sequence”).
There are two types of motion sequence; one type for effects and
one type for each of the parts.
The knobs and keys that can be recorded using a motion sequence
are listed below. You can record a total of twenty-four effect and
part motion sequences in each pattern.

Effects (FX1, FX2, FX3)

FX EDIT1, FX EDIT2

Drum parts (1–7B), Stretch parts(1, 2), Slice part

The Part Common parameters Pitch(PITCH), EGTime(EG TIME),
Pan(PAN), Level(LEVEL), Start(START POINT), AmpEG(AMP EG),
Roll(ROLL), Revers(REVERSE), FxSend(FX SEND), FxSel(FX SE-
LECT); the Modulation parameters ModSpd(SPEED),
ModDpt(DEPTH), ModBPM(BPM SYNC), ModTyp(TYPE),
ModDst(DEST); the Filter parameters Cutoff(CUTOFF), EGInt(EG
