● Keep small children away from the machine. And never let the flex
hang down over the worktop edge - a child could grab it and pull the
machine down. Push excess flex inside the back of the machine.
● Do not use if there is any damage to the machine, flex or plug. Get it
checked or repaired: see ‘service and customer care’, page 5.
● Never put the machine in water or let the flex or plug get wet.
● Watch out for steam and never touch the hotplate.
● This machine is for domestic use only.
● This machine is not intended for use by young children or infirm
persons without supervision.

● Make sure your electricity supply is the same as the one shown on the
underside of your machine.

Green and Yellow = Earth, Blue = Neutral, Brown = Live.

before using for the first time
1 Remove all packaging.
2 Wash the parts: see ‘care and cleaning’, page 4.
3 Push excess flex inside the back of the machine.
4 Run two lots of water through the machine (without coffee) to clean it
out. Fill the tank to the top cup mark when you do this. See ‘to make
coffee’.
