Configuration Keys (cont.)

Up and Down Keys

Move up and down in the configuration
menu; adjust the reduce/enlarge ratio in
1% increments in Copy mode.

Cancel/C Key

In the configuration menu, cancels
the currently displayed setting or
exits from the displayed menu; in Copy
mode clears the specified number of
copies.

Stop/Reset Key

Exits the configuration menu or stops
the current process.

Copy Function Keys

Copy Key

Enters Copy mode.

2-in-1 Key

Specifies that 2 originals should be
copied onto 1 page.

Collate Key

Sorts multiple copies into sets.

Function Key

Allows the media tray and/or duplex
setting to be specified for copying if an
optional lower feeder and/or duplex
option are installed.

Light/Dark Key

Adjusts the brightness (density) of a
copy.

Numeric (0-9) Keys

Specifies the number of copies to be
made (Note: The * and # keys are not
used.)

Quality Key

Selects the type of document to be
copied and the copy resolution.

Reduce/Enlarge Key

Sets the size of the copy (50%-200%).

Start - B&W Key

Makes a black and white
(monochrome) copy.

Start - Color Key

Makes a color copy.

Stop/Reset Key

Stops the current process.

Scan Function Keys (magicolor 2490MF)

Scan Key

Enters Scan mode, so a document
can be scanned to email over the
network.

Stop/Reset Key

Stops the current process.

Fax Function Keys (magicolor 2490MF)

Fax Key

Enters Fax mode.

Function Key

Enters Function mode and provides
access to advanced fax processes.

Use the Start - B&W and Start - Color
keys to make copies from the flatbed
glass or the automatic document feeder.
