Before you install the Sprint PCS Dialer software on your
computer, it is a good idea to attach the data cable to the
computer and your Sprint PCS Phone.
1. Plug the smaller end of the data cable, with the release
tab facing up, into the accessory connection of your
phone.
2. Plug the other end of the data cable into the matching
serial port on the back of your computer.

To begin making Sprint PCS Wireless Web connections, you
will need to install the software from the CD-ROM that is
included in your Sprint PCS Wireless Web Connection Kit.
The software is designed to take you through the installation
process step by step. See the software user guide for more
detailed information on installation.

1. Make sure the data cable is connected properly.
2. Open the application on your computer, and place the
call through the application on your computer. The
phone will display the number your computer is calling.
You will see “CONNECTING”.
Note: Your phone will automatically redial three times (or
until it is successful). If the call is not connected after three
tries, the display will return to Standby mode.

Once the call is successfully connected, your phone’s display
shows transmission information.
