Your phone provides many security options, including a user-
programmable lock code and call restriction features. To
access the Security menu from Standby mode, press ,
, and then enter the four-digit lock code (the lock code
is set at the factory to “0000”). Press the associated digit key
to access one of the following Security options:

2 - Restrict
♦
3 - Lock Code
♦
4 - Priority #
♦
5 - PIN
♦
6 - Clear Memory
♦
7 - Hide My #

0 - Reset Phone

When the phone is in Lock mode, you can answer incoming
calls, but you cannot place outgoing calls (except to 911,
*911, and the seven user-programmable Priority numbers).
You can lock the phone manually during use, or set the
phone to lock automatically when it is turned on.

You can place calls to emergency services and priority
numbers while your phone is in Lock mode. To place normal
outgoing calls in Lock mode, enter the lock code to unlock
the phone, and then dial the phone number.
