New Kenwood Music Keg software info
With the release of KHD-CX910 Kenwood Excelon Music Kegs with 20GB DMS
cartridges and the new KHD-C710 Kenwood Music Keg, new Music Manager
software and Music Keg operating firmware (with the following new features and
capabilities) has become available:
• Compatibility with Audible.com spoken-word files
• Compatibility with the FLAC audio codec
• New Kenwood PhatNoise Music Manager software skin
• Improved Music Manager software setup and navigation using multiple
browse windows
Software/firmware included with Kenwood Music Kegs
There are now several different Kenwood Music Keg versions in the field, each
with different Music Manager software and Music Keg firmware. It is important
that you know how to determine what version of software/firmware a particular
Music Keg has, whether it is compatible with the newest Music Keg features, and
how to update Music Manager software and Music Keg units that need it.
