To avoid burns
and other injuries:

• The appliance and its accessories can become

hot when in use. Therefore only touch the handle
and the buttons.

• Always use the appliance with attachments only,

never on its own, as the connector for the acces-
sories becomes hot during operation.

• Allow the appliance to cool down before attaching

or detaching accessories.

• Only use the enclosed original accessories, as

they have been optimized to work with this
appliance. Other parts are possibly not adequa-
tely safe.

• Keep air inlet and outlet openings clear for an

unimpaired air flow. Otherwise, the appliance
may overheat.

• Be careful with hair spray, water atomizers etc.

On the one hand, the air flow may blow these
substances directly into your eyes.On the other
hand, these substances must not enter the appliance
– they may be inflammable, agressive or con-
ductive for electricity.

• This appliance is not intended for use by individuals

(including children) with restricted physical,
physiological or intellectual abilities or deficiences
in experience and/or knowledge unless they are
supervised by a person responsible for their sa-
fety or receive from this person instruction in how
the appliance is to be used.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that

they do not play with the appliance..

Commissioning

Before starting the appliance up, make certain that ...

– the appliance and the accessories are in good

working order,

– all packaging material has been removed.

If necessary, clean the accessories as described
under “Cleaning and Care”.

Attaching/detaching accessories

After operation, the appliance components may be
hot!

To attach an accessory ...

• place it over the accessories slot

then press

it firmly on, until it engages and sits securely.

To detach an accessory ...

• switch off the appliance first and allow it to cool

down

• withdraw the accessory
