Mineral Deposits and

Discolouration

The concealed element in the base of

the is made from high quality stainless

steel. Any brown stains appearing are

the result of mineral deposits and are

not rust.
To remove the discolouration follow

the cleaning instructions “Removal of

mineral deposits”.

Removal of Mineral Deposits

Mineral deposits in tap water may

cause the Kambrook Electric Teapot

interior to discolour over time. This

may be removed by using a kettle

cleaner or descaler which is available

from most leading supermarkets,

department and hardware stores.

Alternatively:

1. Fill the Kambrook Electric Teapot

until

full with 1 part vinegar and

2 parts water. Boil and allow to

stand overnight.

2. Empty the solution from the

Kambrook Electric Teapot. Fill the

Kambrook Electric Teapot with

clean water, bring to the boil and

discard the water.

3. Repeat and the Kambrook

Electric Teapot will be ready

for use.

Storage

Ensure that the Kambrook Electric

Teapot is switched off, cleaned and

dried before storing. Ensure that the lid

is closed and locked firmly into place.

Wrap the power cord around the

cord storage under the power base.
Stand the Kambrook Electric Teapot

upright on the power base. Do not

store anything on top.
