Sending and Receiving Text Messages

Note:

You can send a message to up to 30

contacts at once. The messages are sent one at
a time, once to each recipient.

When you have completed entering recipients,

Receiving incoming calls while
creating messages

• When you receive a call the phone will return

to the home screen. If you don’t want to
answer the call, select

. The message

is saved and you can return to the
message screen.

• To answer the call, press

. When you

finish the call, press

. The message is

saved in the

Drafts

folder and you can return

to the home screen.

Retrieving text messages

When a text message is received, your screen
displays “X New Message(s)”, along with the
symbol at the top of your screen.
If you see the “X New Message(s)” note
You can view the message by pressing

,

or ignore the message by pressing

and

return to the main menu.

If you see the

symbol flashing, the message

is urgent.

A list of all your received messages appears.

indicates a new, unread message.

Reading the message

view the entire message.

When you have finished viewing the message,
you can select from the following

Reply

to reply to the sender.

Reply With Copy

to reply to the sender

and copy.

Forward

to forward the message.

Erase

to erase the message.

Erase

All

to erase all the

unprotected messages.

Call Back

to call the sender of the message.

Save

Numbers

to save the sender’s phone

number in your Contacts list.

Save to Saved

to save the message to the

Saved messages folder.

Extract URL

to extract the URL.

Protect

to prevent the message from

being accidentally deleted. The

Unprotect

option is available when the message is
already protected.
