÷ Recording on deck B starts immediately after recording on deck A has

completed.

Adjust the recording level.

Preparation

This function allows to record sound continuously from deck
A to B.
Since this unit is not designed for recording with metal

(TYPE

) tapes, do not use metal tapes for recording.

Relay recording cannot be performed if the REV.MODE key is set to “

””.

Perform auto-bias adjustment. (The bias adjustment is applied to deck B.)

Set the relay recording mode.

Play the music source.

Set the record-pause mode. (deck A).

Adjust the recording balance and record-
ing level.

Stop playing the music source.

÷ Press the RELAY REC key again.

"RELAY" goes off.

To cancel relay recording

"RELAY" lights up.

Make “Playback (recording) preparation”.

(If relay recording is required, insert tapes

in both decks A and B. Select the record-
ing mode to set to "

O" or "[" only.)

Start recording.

Play the music source from the begin-
ning.

Press the REC/ARM (

) key (of deck A).

REC/ARM

÷ The optimum bias is set in about 40 seconds, after which the deck

enters the stop mode.

÷ Recording is possible even if the auto-bias adjustment operation is

omitted.
